The Air Force Research Laboratory Propulsion Directorate's Power Division, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, invites you to attend the Third Annual Technology Needs & Investment Strategy Forum, to be held May 13-14, 2008 at the Dayton Marriott Hotel, 1414 South Patterson Blvd., Dayton, Ohio.
This year’s agenda will cover some of the most pressing aerospace power and thermal technical challenges that impact today’s warfighter. There will be discussions on aircraft and directed energy power and thermal issues as well as special emphasis power systems. Additional presentations will address current contracting issues and also give an overview of the Power Division’s Small Business Innovative Research Program.
Side Bar Meetings will be held to allow attendees the opportunity to interact with the government personnel in a one-on-one environment. This interaction could include asking clarifying questions based on the presentations, explaining the attendees' areas of expertise, or any other comments or questions that are better suited to this environment. Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. You may reserve your scheduled time slot at the time you register.
At this workshop the Power Division will present its investment strategies and opportunities for partnership in this expanding area of critical 21st century research. An overview of the Integrated Vehicle Energy Technology (INVENT) Program will be presented including details of the INVENT Consensus Architecture. New start efforts for FY09 will be highlighted including potential funding and measures of merit. We hope you will join us in the exciting interchange promised by this event. Space is limited to the first 200, so register today and take advantage of this year's forum. |
